The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) is seeking interns/on-the-job trainees for Accounting Department

Business Description:

AmCham Philippines is the oldest American Chamber abroad –and the first in Asia. It has been a premier business organization for over 100 years; initiated in 1902 and incorporated in 1920.

It is committed to the promotion of US-RP relations at all levels and boasts 23 standing committees and two Foundations that cover all aspects of business and industry in the country.

INTERN- Accounting Department

Responsibilities:

1. Sorting/Filing/Creating Files

2. Assisting and compiling audit requirements (to include digging up records for audit

3. General Typing (Confirmation Letters for Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable, Bank Confirmation Letters on all types of deposits and other correspondences)

4. Follow-up of responses on confirmation letters

5. Photocopying of pertinent documents for the Auditor

6. Proofreading of schedules and other supporting documents against trial balance

Requirement/s:

1. BS Accountancy-preferably 3rd year student

Duration: 2 months
