the emo virus...

i never expected from myself that i would become so attached and would miss so much people who just came into my life. i thought it was all about becoming the best, being competitive, future careers. yes, i considered it to broaden my network but it never dawned on me how much i'd treasure these new people.

everyday since that night of temporary farewell, my cellphone hasn't stopped beeping with messages coming from such people."how are you", "see you soon", "i miss you".

simple phrases that express our emotions. but these are mere words and they don't give justice on how we really feel. i thought i was the only one, but to my surprise, everyone else felt the same.

one day won't go by without someone saying i miss you. and just today, i read someone's blog entry how much he misses everyone. hence, it's called the "emo virus". i guess we all got infected, one way or another.

i have to admit that i still have a hangover from what happened that week. as i've said, i thought it was pure business and learning of stuff. i never thought i'd come to being so attached, not to mention loving 24 different people.network building was an understatement. i went there and gained more than 24 dear friends.

here's something to give you an idea how much i've been infected of THE virus:
- i miss walking from the amcham hall to the ayala bus station. (or even riding the jeep.)
- lss of the week: ken lee. (this is serious.)
- i've been praying to make a mistake just so i can say I'M SO SORRY out loud.
- two words: unli coffee!!!

- the need to greet more than 20 people 'good morning' everyay.
- i miss carrying around an extra bag and looking like a sales promo girl. (the bop bag or the yellow amcham bag which contains all the freebies we got.)

- smiling everytime kuya roy's around. (actually, i always wore a smile whenever i'm with you people.)
- THE back bus will always be noisy, no matter who sits there.

- jump shots are the best!!!!!
- and if you want to be seen in the jump shots, stay in front. (based on experience. haha.)
- ms. abbie and her "guys, 5 mins na lang" line. (guys alam nyo ba, my friends noticed how fast i eat nowadays.)

- chicken meals. fried, roasted, on sandwiches, spicy, on arroz caldo... basta chicken! :p
- long talks which involve a lot of questions.
- feeling "fresherrr" everytime there's an elevator ride. and the elevator shots.
- the amcham hall is now my idea of a classroom conducive for learning.

- i think i'll be cheng's "bday girl" forever. hahaha. hanggang ngayon yata, yun parin tawag nya sakin.
- GERSWANE. :) aw.. i miss my busmate.
- i learned about safety... in the plant! :) indeed.
- MILLIONS!!
- BPO people have social lives too. diba fourth?
- lamoiyan corp. <--sasakalin ko ang makakalimot dito. :p
- when the photographer says "wacky pose", you don't move and just pose like a korean.
- mrs. murray!!!!
- i'm having a hard time not to ask people for their calling cards. haha.
- i've been wanting to drop by mr. dave's office. (as in ang lapit lang nya sa office namin.)
- .....and there's a lot more evidence of my infection but right now, i have to stop. haha. nahahabaan na ako sa list. :p

to any BOP batch 6 reading this, i miss you. very much. i do hope our baguio thing will push through. pati na rin yung cebu thing.

p.s. forgive me for the incoherent rambling. i'm just writing things at the speed of thought and even if you have no idea what i just wrote, i know you miss batch 6.i'm looking forward to celebrating my next birthday with you again.
